Description

In conjunction with 80 Langton Street’s outdoor month, I installed a series of sidewalk drawings in tempera and powdered pigments. These “drawings,” created specifically for the corner of Folsom and Langton Streets were extended and modified weekly during the course of the exhibition. Each extension was based on morphological rules embodied within the previous drawings, the patterns and organization evoking codes, messages, or genetic structure. (Hodgin in Pritikin 1980)
